He looks at the vehicle again, eyes focused on the engine and its intake.
“My dad rode, once upon a time. One of those things that you could race down the highways with - back when he was my age. I think I might start, too, if I can get a license and some gear.”

“Yeah, this here’s my baby.” She pats the
seat a couple times with the same affection
a mother would a child. “But most of the vehicles
here are inspected by me personally, so that’s
not saying much.”
For a brief moment her eyes brighten
a little. Asami would be a liar if she said
she didn’t have a need for speed. Racing
was sort of a guilty hobby of hers. She’d
never (well, almost never) race on the roads,
but on the track, she loved it.
“You should!” she encourages. “Driving is
such a stress reliever for me. I don’t know
what I’d do otherwise.”
“Of course! Someone’s gotta test them out, right?” And besides, Korra seemed to enjoy it the last time she took her...
