3. Nose Kiss

        Ben’s not even listening to her, but she
        can’t really blame him. He has a lot on
        his mind— focused entirely on a sudden
        case. Still, she thinks a break would do
        him good. He’s always getting onto her
        about how she needs to step back once in
        a while. Maybe he should take his own advice.

                           Without a word, she reaches across his
                           desk and snatches the pen from his fingers.
                           When his head snaps up in surprise, she’s right
                           there in his face and presses a kiss to his nose.
