| Anonymous ASKED: If you were to have bending of any kind, which kind of bender would you want to be? Or would you rather stay a non-bender? |
For the next five questions my Muse can not tell a lie.

”I can’t tell you how often I used to daydream about
being a bender. After my mother died, I used to wonder
if things would have been different had I been born a bender
— if I could have protected her. I used to wish I was a
Waterbender for that reason; water was calm and healing.
But it could also be d a n g e r o u s if underestimated. The funny
thing is, I think that sort of describes how I am now, without
bending. Most people think that because I’m a non-bender,
I’m an easy target, but I’m not. For all of my father’s faults, he
did do one thing right by me: he taught me how to protect
myself and others.
So I guess what I’m saying is, I’m fine being a non-bender.
Just because I don’t bend an element doesn’t mean I can’t
look out for the people I care about.“
