Jealousy [Starter Sentences]

        “Who? Mako and I?” She blinks, watching Jack’s
        expression go from moody to downright guarded
        and smiles knowingly. She is no stranger to jealousy.
        Silently, she takes his hand and laces their fingers. They
        are cool and, like everything else about him, reminds her
        crisp Winter evenings spent under warm blankets with cups
        of hot tea.

                          “You don’t have to worry about him,” she assures,
                           squeezing his hand. “We’re just friends. We dated
                           — but that's in the past and I have no desire to go
                          down that road again. Besides,” she smiles, almost
                          bashful, “someone else has my heart now."
