                       you know, i like to think of it as not the end of 2014,
                       but   as  the  beginning  of  2015.   endings  are  sad.
                       beginnings are great! there’s a whole lot of things to
                       look  forward  to  in  2015,  and  even though i’m not
                       entirely  sure  what  most  of  those  things  are,  i’m
                       excited  to  discover what the next  paragraph in my
                       life is going to bring!

                       back in may,  i  made  a  very important  decision:  i
                       decided  to  create  a roleplaying blog  for  newt from
                       the maze runner. i didn’t think it would last very long
                      – after all, none of my past escapades in roleplaying
                       had  lasted  very  long.  also,  as  far  as i  knew,  the
                       maze runner roleplaying  fandom  wasn’t  especially
                       big,     which   would   probably   mean   being   over-
                       shadowed  by more popular characters  from  more
                       popular fandoms. 

                       however,  you  guys –  the  roleplaying  community –
                       have been ever so gracious in your acceptance of me.
                       i couldn’t be more grateful for every single one of you.
                       despite my being a writer,  i’m really quite abysmal at
                       expressing myself,  so  i’d just like to thank you all for
                       tolerating me and whatnot.

                       hey, there, you. yes, you. i love you. 5ever. (dat meen
                       moar  den  4ever.  and  i  think  i  just  ruined my  own
                       moment. i’m sorry. it’s 2 am.)
